Old dock needs pressure washed and stained, on 1 acre pond. Is there a certain stain to use that is safe when some it will end up in the water?

If it was my pond I wouldn't even have a second thought about it. Even if you were to dump a gallon of stain in the water, there's probably a couple million gallons of water in there. It'd be so diluted that nothing would happen. But, that's just me. Others might have a different take on it. I'm more unconcerned about the fish in my pond. To me they're fish, to be eaten or otherwise used. Not my "babies".

I wouldn't worry about it.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I was thinking it wouldn't be a big deal in a 1 acre pond...that if a bit spilled it wouldn't be a problem but wanted to double-check.thanks
