I guess I will reply to myself. The pics popped right up. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will try to put them in the photo gallery again. mpc

Wow, looks like you had a quick fill! That is how my much smaller pond looked for a few months, then it cleared right up. Looks like the pic with the feeder in it shows that you have a great bloom going on. Never seen one in person!

Once I started the fill with the new well, it went fast. 43 days, 928,350 gals. and one rain of 5" to top it off. I'm happy, the fish are happy, and Overton's has my "finish" stocking CNBG ready to pick up mid month,Happy,Happy,Happy.
All this started 2 years ago,so the fill did not seem fast to me. East TX pond. The drought frustrated me to the max and I finally gave in, had a well drilled. Now I can really manage most aspects of the pond.
Just thinking out loud I believe I can have an additional positive aspect to the pond management (by temp) by putting water in in early spring to warm the water up sooner than it normally would and as well cool the water off some mid/late summer. I know that, hrs. of light, have impact on spawning among other factors, but water temp plays a pretty big roll in triggering the potential for a spawn.
Anyway, I can start doing real management of the pond now.
