I just got the water analysis back for my ponds. At a glance is there anything here that stands out at y'all?

"Green Pond" is the main one I want to work with. It has/had the most fish in it to start with, and will be the pond we put our house next to one day. It is currently about 1.3 acre.

The next pond is the new pond (2 years) marked "Clay/muddy pond" I want to clear this one up then manage. It is about 1 acre

And the "Small pond" is really small but might work it into a forage pond some day?

Here are the print outs, let me know if you see anything scary. Also if you think "clay pond" will clarify easily with Gypsum or Alum?

I am really chomping at the bit to get things started on them!!! I did add 1000 FHM to the two larger ones the other day, just to feel like I was doing something. I mainly need power for aeration and RAIN!!! but the deer and turkeys with there 15 babies are happy, so that is good.

Thanks for any help.

On green pond I would add some ag lime with both Ca and Mg in it to get the hardness up (only shown limiting factor) and it will help with pH swings. What time of day were the tests done?

Same for 1 acre pond (no 2)

Same for pond 3.

See this re hardness/alkalinity.

https://srac.tamu.edu/index.cfm/event/getFactSheet/whichfactsheet/112/

However, where sodium
bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is responsible
for alkalinity it is possible
to have low hardness and high
alkalinity. Acidic, ground or well
water can have low or high hardness
and has little or no alkalinity.

Would also suggest you get the pond bottom soil tested.

Good info, thanks. Kind of made my head spin!

The sample was taken mid day. Of the 4 ponds sampled it is the only one below 6. I also must have a bad test kit for pH because I was getting a reading of closer to 8 when I took a sample a month earlier, also at mid day. I will get the Mud sample off to A&M soon and then see what to do from there.

Can you tell from the analysis if the Gyp will work on the muddy pond or is that better just to self test a few different samples? Should I do two tests, one with Gyp and on with Alum to see what works better? If I get the muddy pond to settle might it be at jeopardy of a vegetation problem? In which case should I fertilize?
