I wasn't able to start feeding in the spring due to budget constraints. Now I can afford to feed, but is it too late in the season to start?
The water temp is 78 degrees, but I expect it to go up, I'm in N. Texas, we had a mild June, July will be a booger.
Thanks in advance.

It's never too late. You may just have to start slow, because of the heat. Feed after sun up and before sun down. Go up to four feedings/day roughly after Labor Day, when the temps come down.

Ed is right. Never too late. However, they might not get started right away. Also, you might have to walk around and figure out where the fish are instead of having them come to you.

Strangest thing. I was feeding this morning and a 12 inch bass started feeding on the pellets. Hope he keeps it up. Forage fish don't contain 32% protien.
