OK I going to jump into this since I been ignoring my pond a little with the focus on building the house and deer hunting.

When was the pond built?
2009 and partial rebuilt in 2010

How big is the pond?
roughly 1/2 acre

How deep was it then?
built to be 15' to 16' deep

How deep is it now?
about 9' to 10' since the 2" of rain earlier this week

Average depths?
4' to 5' right now, when full 8'

How long did it take to fill up?
Never has got to about 14' deep in summer 11 and then the drought started. This was when the bluegills where stock by Nate.

Does the water level fluctuate much?
Not enough experience on this yet because of the drought but assuming it will 1 - 3 feet once thing stabilize

What is the primary soil type?
Clay with 10 tons of bentonite to help

What type of land is the watershed drainage into the pond?
10 - 12 acres of ag, with 1/2 ag of wildflower filter strip and 1/2 acre grass filter strip.

What is the typical water clarity?
18" during a bloom, up to 42" in the winter

Have you ever had the water quality analyzed? Results?
No

What is predominant vegetation growing in and around the pond?
None

Do you do anything about the vegetation, explain?
no

Aeration?
24/7 in the winter, 12 hours/day summer over night

What fish were stocked initially, what sizes, and when?
15 pounds Fatheads Aug 10
300 3-5" HBG June 11
100 4-6" HSB Oct 11

What fish have been stocked since initial stocking?
None

What fish have been removed since initial stocking?
None by me, need to do some of this.

Whats the biggest fish of each species caught to date and when?
Many 8 - 9" HBG with 9.5" being the largest July '12
11" HSB July '12

Whats the average size of each species in the pond currently?
Unknown Not enought fishing but assuming 7 - 9 HBG and HSB unsure

Do you feel you have all age classes of fish represented adequately in the pond? Explain...
No, thinking of stocking HBG in another year

How do you feel about the fish habitat in the pond?
Sparse,just some PCV trees.

Do you feel the fish have enough to eat year round?
Think so, they are all very fat and hard to catch

Do you supplementally feed, what kind food, how often?
AM500 1 second twice a day from a TH. Haven't weigh the food but went though 200+ pounds last year.

Yellow perch since I love to eat them, maybe a small WE population as a bonus fish. Trout in the winter as a bonus specie but I need a little more free time before that will happen. Trying to to over stress this small BOW

Would you like to harvest more or less fish annually?
Need to start harvesting, so more

What are your future plans for the pond in regards to human interaction/management?
None come to mind just a couple of fishing outing every year during turkey/deer hunting to kill time and maybe a couple of winter trips to kill time. Hard to winter fish with the aeration since no solid ice forms.

What decisions have you made that now in hindsight you would do differently?
Maybe done YP in place of HBG

Overall what is the ultimate goal for your fishery and how close are you to obtaining it?
Ultimate goals would be
10-11" HBG (close to that)
16-20" HSB (need time here)
12-14" YP (haven't started or if possible)
15-20" WE (haven't started or if possible)
12- 18" RT in winter as a bonus

Once you obtain that original goal, then what?

Try to maintain through stocking
