Due to the bullhead problem that I have, I decided to put in LMB. It is only 3/4 ac pond and the plan is to let them overpopulate and stunt, so I have some good size sunfish and black crappie. So I got 40, 3" F1 LMB and about the same number Tilapia, mainly because it looks like the crappie are starting to put a dint in the minnows.

What I want to ask it this: I put the 3" LMB in the pond on Sat morning. On Sunday, I noticed unusual number of fish jumping out of the water. Panicky kind of jumps, like they didn't even be in the water. These were 4" fish and bigger. I realize that the life for my fish changed forever, but would 3" bass harass bigger fish than they are? Maybe it's just coincidence.
