In Lusk's catfish article he says bluecat need meat in their feed instead of grain based feed. Can someone expand on that?

BC do better with more fish/animal based protein but some grain based food (catfish food) is better than nothing. AM is more than enough as would GFC or any of the predator foods. Problem is the size of the fish vs. the size of the pellets and the cost.

I feed a few channel and two blue aquamax that are mixed with largemouth and they grow super fast and get super fat but that's not a big surprise. I was wondering if they needed it for health or would come up to feed better or something.
