We have been putting them in bags thruing them in freezer then using for fertilizer for trees/gardens for family n friends. When someone needs some we get rid of as many as possible. And when the freezer is full we go dig holes next to apple trees and other trees and unload them. Really helps the growth. smile We only fillet here and there. There is just to many to fillet them all. But we have give many away for people to fillet. Last year we removed 897 HBG/GSF from 7ac pond. Most were with hook but we did run traps but didn't get a ton with them just because lack of time to deal with them.

That's a good idea, Allmadness. I've got a PTO mounted augur we use for planting trees and it would be perfect for digging fish burial chambers next to fruit trees. It's funny but my fish trap seems to be highly effective at getting HBG while the CNBG and RES rarely enter. I use a pantyhose baited with aquamax and it works well.

I fish often and my pepper plants and tomatoes are all grown on top of buckets of flileted fish. They grow like crazy.

I found some videos and photos from the scene of the crime when the fish forage base was stocked in 11/2009; here are a couple. I swear, now that I watch more closely, I think I see some little greenies at the bottom of the tank as he's flushing it with water.

Anyone see anything except CNBG and RES?
