I have some projects coming up "hopefully!!" on land with springs.
One chunk of land has three springs on it and an old beaver dam that has been modified rather poorly but still holds about a half acre of water, and we would like to build a 5 or six acre pond down the property a little.
HOw can the water be deverted so work can be done on the dam, like the core trench and all the other good stuff. There is better than a hundred gallons a minute coming out of the culvert on the beaver dam?
Is there any way to help develope the spring and keep its flow better??
Any good literature you can suggest?
I have two more project questions but I will put them in different posts.

If you're still interested, let me know. I have worked with construction company in the past to do something similar. However, the costs can be extremely high do to the unpredictability of hydro-dynamic for springs.
