Young eagle
So we're sitting in the house and just outside the windows a big bird is gliding towards the pond. Not uncommon, but, what is, is the no good SOB swoops down and tries to take my duck decoy for my aerator. Then the big dummy sits there on the ice like he can't figure out why he didn't get the duck. The cool part was when he took off, another eagle joined him, and as they soared a little higher and across the valley, two more joined in on the fun. Not too often you get to see four bald eagles all at once around here.

What state are you in? And thanks for the pics!

I'm in PA. I appears you're from PA as well. I'm just up the road from you then. I live between Punxsutawney and Clarion and I would assume you have an idea where this little piece of heaven is. I wish our camera had a lens that zoomed in a little more, and I wish I could have reacted quick enough for an action shot.

Thanks! I know the general area, but I haven't been through there too much.
I don't think I've ever seen an Eagle at my pond, or even at my house closer to Pittsburgh (lot's of other birds of prey around my house).

I had one swoop down on my hen turkey decoys hunting one time.. One of my best hunting memories..
I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease.. BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.
