I was looking at some threads on floating islands, and it hit me. Why not incorporate a planted area in a floating dock, or fishing platform?
You could make a spot in the middle to place some plants. You could also make some planters around the edges.
Any suggestions?

If you have the money to pay for someone to do it, or the skills and equipment to do it yourself... Your imagination is the limit. I see no reason why incorporating planters into a floating dock wouldn't work. Especially in more mild areas where heavy freezes wouldn't be an issue.
