My son caught this 24" yellowish catfish yesterday in our pond. Any ideas on what it is? Pond was only stocked with CC.

Looks like a channel cat to me. Everything except for the color. What does your water look like?

Water is always a little stained however never caught one that was so yellow.

Yeah, those are CC... When caught from muddy water, they often look that way.

See the forked tail - that verifies it is a CC and not a bullhead.

It also seems to need a good meal.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
