I am new to posting in the forums but have been using some advised given to some other that are having the same problem I am having. I have come to the conclusion that my pond is over populated and today we were fishing to take some of the small fish out when we caught this one. I had started to believe that all of our fish this size were all gone, but luckily today I was proved wrong. About 5 years ago we would catch 2 or 3 bass this size every time we fished but for the past few years we have been out they have all been small.

Oh also I did not get a chance to weigh the fish. I was wanting to but I had a very hard time getting the hook out and did not wanna risk losing this fish and was in a hurry to get him back in the water.

Usually, there will be a handful of larger bass that are big enough to be capable of eating some of the stunted bass.
Keep removing the smaller bass and check into the health of your forage base.
