Those are some fat bass! That second one might be the fattest I've ever seen! Wow. Can you tell us more about the place?

7 plus year old 4.3 acre pond. Was not managed at all for the first 6 years. Tons of cc. Few bg. Large lmb. Removed 700 cc over a year. Placed some feed trained lmb from greg and some feed trained smb from nate. hsb from local guy. Added 2000 cnbg. They all are growing quickly due to aquamax 500/600. Tilapia added last year but not yet this year. Greg coming to do electro survey next week. That grass carp weighed 18 pounds and was 7 years old.

What did you catch the grass carp on?
Some of those bass are just footballs. The smallie is so fat too.
Crazy good!!!
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Hey, Doc. Were any of the other fish in your photos caught with SS or just the huge carp?!? I'm working on my site and your photos are perfect. I love that the kids are fly fishing. It's so much fun! I think if there were more mentors out there helping the kids they would absolutely love to fly fish. Unless they get tangled up like I do and spend 30 minutes getting out of the tangled mess in the bushes and trees!

I have to give Matt the credit not me. This is two years in a row I missed going to this awesome pond. Look forward to the shocking results. They should be pulling in there this morning. It is not rocket science in growing big fish. It takes the right advice but more importantly the follow thru by the clients. Doc has the passion and the follow thru that few cleints do. He is maximimzing the potential and his efforts have paid off wonderfully. Thanks for sharing.
