I have a 3/4 acre pond built in the 60's with a water flow from an old creek and watershed that is a dam with creek pipes to another old creek. Average Depth of 5 feet, no structure. Lately, I have had a large problem with coontail, duckweed, and filamentous algae. about 75% coverage I have tried copper sulfate, but that only turns it brown for a few days, even with continued application rates. I am planning on trying Nautique mixed with Cide-Kick activator. If there are any other low cost, season round suggestions, it would be much appreciated! I love this pond to death and have pulled many 8 lb. LMB out of her. Please help me save this pond!!!!
