In my zeal to have a pond, I filled it without adding structure. I am going to correct that at the earliest possible convenience.
When is it going to be the least detrimental to my fish to draw the pond down to just the deepest section and place my structure before refilling it? And are there any other precautions I need to consider?

I would draw down and refill before spawning season or after spawning season.
