Some of you probably saw my earlier post about connecting my two ponds. My question now is :
the amount of area that would be removed between the two ponds is approximately 70 yards long and 20 yards inbetween and I want a depth of at least 8 ft deep.
Any ideas on an approx cost??

I would think, you might aswell well redo both of them while your at, reason being there gonna have to be drained anyways. So you might aswell make them look like one naturally rather than connecting them.

You will have around 3700 yards of dirt to move so I would say more than $7000 but less than $12000.

Why do I have to drain them?? AM i missing something-the contractor didnt say anytihng about that-he just said that he could dig as they are....is there something else that I would need to do?

Is he planning on digging/packing the middle section underwater? I quess he could do that but it don't seem like the right way to do.. I'm not a pro or anything just stating my opinion
