Here's my question...we have a 4 acre spring fed pond that we renovated almost 2 years ago. The NRCS told us we have 750 acres of watershed...that seems like alot! Just curious as to the most acreage posted on this forum...

Yes we have a 24 inch pipe and 2 emergency spillways on each side...when we fixed the dam that was broken we had LOTS of rain for a few weeks and it hadn't had time to settle and we didn't have any grass on it so we had to fix it twice. It's done well since then but it still makes me nervous. It was an existing pond where the dam had been broken and not fixed properly but it was a pond that had been here for 3o years before that and we are really enjoying it
