from just reading. I bought some land with a 1 acre pond on it last winter. It went dry 2 years ago so we're starting from scratch. I'll get a well dug do that doesn't happen again. Here's a picture. http://www.pondboss.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showgallery&Number=229407&#Post229407This thing is in pretty deep bush so electricity may has well be fusion power, unobtainium. Wind & solar is what we'll use to keep it going.

ps goal is some lmb worth catching, cc less so, bg as afterthought. vis in the winter was 3', after all the rain 1', pH 7.5, hardness & alkalinity 300, 95 F yesterday. Area almost 2 acre now but we are 2' over, max depth 9' yesterday. No DO meter, might get a test kit. Water is light green in test bottle. Stocked with 100 bg, 10 cc, 30 lmb in Apr, all real small.

Mouch, you might want to throw in a few pounds of FH minnows while everything is still small.

It's pushing 2 acres now. It has a half section draining into it.
