Is there anyone in the NW Louisiana area or Ark-La-Tex who sells and installs pond aeration equipment? I am also having a problem getting the local electric company to come out to wire up the area around my rural pond of 2 acres. Should I consider a windmill or solar panel and tell the power company to take a leap?
My pond was stocked in October of 2009, the fish are fed daily and are growing like wildfire. I sure do hate thinking about losing them due to lack of oxygen.

Hey Chandler,
I was just in Texarkana a couple of weeks ago and I can tell you this. If you are using Entergy to get your electricity good luck. Right now they are really backed up. I have been waiting for 3 weeks now and the engineer told me it would be a week in a half!! Ha,ha. When I went to Texarkana the other day I saw Entergy trucks all over the place on the side of the road. They are doing a BUNCH of road construction in south Arkansas right now and I believe they are having to move a bunch of line and transformers because it. Keep on them they will get to you. If you can from everything I have read I would try and get power and go with a pump. It seems to overall work better and more consistant. I am sure where your at it's much like the Arkansas summers and when it's hot it's not very windy at all so your windmill won't do much good, unless you have a backup power motor on it and then you need power again anyway. That's just my 2 cents though for what it's worth.
Good Luck bud,
The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
