i joined this site because i would like to find out how i can fix a overflow pipe in a pond, ive fished in a pond down the road from me all my life and it has brought me much joy and its just a part of my life. the old man that owns the pond doesnt realize his pond is introuble and id like to help him and save the pond from going dry and save the fish in it. its about a 3 acre pond, its now about 5 feet low. theres a vertical pipe at the dam end of the pond that is rusted and leaking. the more it rusts out the lower the pond gets. and its spring fed and still a steady flow of water coming out on the other side of the dam, what would be the best way to fix the leak in the vertical pipe without draining the pond. its about 20 feet from the bank and the pipe looks to be 10 or 12 inches in diameter maybe. i hope i can get some help with this and i ty for your time.
