several years back I was so close to making a full size wooden canoe. I was reading everything I could and found a set of plans to get started but then started thinking about all my efforts to build one only to then put it in the water, luckily the urge faded away. I still enjoy looking at the craftsmanship of the model and full size wooden canoes though.
