RC51 Ambassador Lunker Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 4,318 Likes: 8 Arkansas	Hey for the new guys (Like Myself) out here that haven't really seen how to tag a fish I thought I would share this picture I found that it really seemed to help me grasp what exaclty the tag had to do under the skin and how it is inserted. I know a few guys on here have shown their fish they have tagged but it's a little easier to see whats going on in this outline pictue and exactly how the T tag is suppose to look once tagged. Anyway just thought I would share. The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!

I am going to start tagging and keeping records this March so I am glad I found that pic now and not later. The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. I was putting the tag in more of a 90* angle to the fish instead of coming from the rear going forward like is shown in the video. It makes sense to do that (rearward to forward). Was that fin punched with a hole punch when the fish was smaller?
