Just an FYI, anyone need some christmas trees for structure the Farmers Market across the street from the ridgemar mall in FW has 50 or so at the right price. FREE bring a trailer.

I imagine it's the best week of the year to pickup Christmas trees just about everywhere. That's sure the case around here. ... across the street from the ridgeamr mall ... rmedgar mall?

Yep I picked up about 35 free ones from the city drop off last week and most of them are now tied to poles and floating in the lakes.

Yes after a short time (week to 2 mths depending on greenness). They are tied to hang in a certain manner and depth. For example top , bottom , middle or in pairs or groups to get desired effect. Ones imagination is the only limit to the type structure you can create with this method. Then at the right time (depending on the goal) I cut the line and let the tree fall to the bottom to form a mound. The process can be paired with tree limbs , pallets , portions of fencing and used in groups or lines to create multi structure areas or highways. The concept was presented at PB III .

I assume green trees sink faster than dry ones?
I own a Xmas tree farm and I usually end up burning dozens of "culls" every year. If there are any Michigan pond owners in the Howell/Brighton area that want trees. e-mail me and I'll give you the address for the farm.

Yes the green ones sink much faster. Dry brown ones can take mths.
