Are there any forum members, that have any exsperience with this product,or similare. http://www.canadianpond.ca/floating_islands.htmlIf so please share it, or come forward. I`m considering, to import it from US/Canada, but the cost of shiping it to Norway, might exeed, the value of its efect. Any exsperience is of interest. PAUL

Plenty of floating island posts here, ande, as well as 2-3 articles in PBMag about them. I don't know if any of that involved that particular product, though.

I'w tried to search on the topic here on this forum with no luck. do you have any links to users of this product. I'm fairly convinced its a good invest but all my refrences is with people that deal them. I'd like some yousers or buyers to shear experience? It might be to new? PAUL

Paul, I'm sure the floating islands from Canadian ponds is probably an excellent product but I have no first hand knowledge of them. There was an excellent article on islands in the Nov-Dec 2006 issue of Pond Boss and you can get it from PB. If the cost of buying one ready made is not a problem then they would be a great addition to your pond. If you have the time you can also build one using foam noodles, plastic fencing, rigid or flexible PVC, plastic bottles, or even a flat piece of foam with holes drilled into it. The links that Brettski has provided will give you some ideas of different methods that have been used and you could probably come up with even more.
