is there anything wrong with it? I have a feeder going 5x a day but, was woundering if it hurt to through in some bread.

It's basically empty calories.

I wouldn't buy bread to feed fish, but have been known to let them finish off a stale loaf.

thats what I feed, the old bread. the little ones that cant eat the pellets seem to enjoy the extra food

I find that the heels, and especially stale hamburger or hot dog buns, make fantastic BG bait. If it is too dry to moosh around a hook, moisten it a little. The BG go crazy for it.

Plus look at all those carbs. Not good. I would say that bread just doesn't have the nutritional values required to grow fish but has anyone ever had a meal at an eatery on a big lake. People throw all kinds of scraps in water. I have seen some giant, I mean giant, bluegills hanging around those areas.

Yes low protein. They love it though will pass by even aquamax feed to go after bread. I think it is vey palatible. However it adds little nautrional value as Chad mentioned.
