The magic birthday cake appeared next to Bing's name and Adirondak noticed it and posted a Happy Birthday wish in another thread.
I think Bing deserves a thread of his own.
Happy Birthday Bing, I hope you have a great day!

Ah yes, 39 is such an innocent age.

Thanks everyone, I deeply appreciate your sentiments. Mrs. B loaded me in the car and took me to Nashville, TN this AM. It is the first time we've been out in quite a while. Had a nice meal at The Aquarium in Opry Mills Mall and plan to spend some Birthday gift certificates at Bass Pro Shops tomorrow. Seeing the first show at the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night. Sorry n8ly, no Chucky Cheese nearby.
Thanks again,
Bing

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Nate: I believe you are referring to Chuck Berry. I don't think he plays the Grand Ole' Opry.
By they way, when you are driving through St. Louis on the way to Big Cedar this fall don't mention to anyone there that you are so young you've never heard of Chuck Berry. That is his home town, and not knowing him is a Capital Offense. Perhaps it is best you stick with Chuckee Cheese.

Speaking of Chuck Berry, has anyone seen the documentry that shows Chuck's home with home recording studio which was once a beautiful place but is now a tad run down?
Chuck really tells Keith Richards what he thinks. Something like "I was playing guitar when you were still in your daddy's pants" or something like that.

Sunil: I think you are referring to the 1987 movie "Hail, Hail, Rock & Roll" that was filmed at the Fox Theater in St. Louis. It was all filmed in one night. Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Roy Orbison, Keith Richards and many other R&R stars were in it. As I recall, as the filming progressed well past midnight, Chuck got rather "testy" and told several fellow performers where to get off. Here is a link to a description: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0092758/BTW, this discussion between Nate and me came up because he saw a poster in my basement that was from Chuck's 75th Birthday Party Concert which I attended. I agreed to never tease Nate or bring it up again, but neither Nate or his brother Justin knew who Chuck was. Please keep reminding me that I am not supposed to tease Nate about this. Bing

That's the movie Bing. Maybe it was during a rehearsal that he told Keith Richards.

Hey Bing, just a reminder, don't tease Nate about not knowing who Chuck Berry is. Sounds like you had a good day.

Hey Bing, just a reminder, don't tease Nate about not knowing who Chuck Berry is. Didn't he host The Gong Show?
