Holy smokes--she's a natural! She can sight cast better than me. Cute kid and great video.

She obviously comes from a bait-casting family.
Great video!

Thanks Ryan. Before it was over, I was laughing like her.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Great stuff Ryan. We used to do the same thing with our cat until he broke the fishing pole.

Tiger, came from the animal shelter. I'm pretty sure he's a cat but he used to like getting in the shower while it was running which seems a bit strange. He's about 8 years old and has lost about 4lbs since she got that pole. The fishing pole is by far her favorite toy and well worth every nicked piece of furniture and welt I now have. It will probably need new bearings and drag before fishing season arrives.

It is funny how fast the kids will learn. I was so proud of my 5 year old when he walked to the back of the boat while bass fishing and showed my buddy how to cast an open face reel.

Just too funny, Ryan. As short as a kids attention span is, she will be a lifelong fisherperson. She seems to never tire of it. She is awesome. Is that a Barbie or Cinderella. I have 4 and 6 YO granddaughters who liked playing with the nightcrawlers better. Maybe I can teach them to bait my hook.

That's a good video! She just can't get enough... Some of my best childhood memories are of me fishing with my father.

It has Cinderella, Snow White and a couple other characters I think.
I'm working on my Grandad's 5 year plan. He started me off with a Pocket Fisherman when I was about her age. He got me hooked and when I was about 7, he said if I wanted to fish I had to clean the fish I caught.
