Great prayer Ewest, I like that.
I did pretty good on Turkey Day. I set down the fork and pushed back from the table before my pants got too tight, no belt unbuckeling or anything - I'm trying to keep my ankles nice and slim.

As usual, I'm a day late. Due to crazy schedules, we're having our Thanksgiving celebration this evening.
The bird started soaking in a salt and sugar brine about 24 hours ago. It was massaged under its skin with my secret dry rub about two hours ago. The oil is up to 275 as I write this. The very oldest and the very youngest of the family arrived last night. The rest are due in about an hour. We'll have four generations around the table.
Life is good. As Americans, we sure have a lot to be thankful for.
