After skimming and raking the pond this weekend, this stuff is fighting back with a vengeance.
Will Cultrine Plus get rid of this stuff?

Best chemical to use is a fluridone product (whitecap, sonar) $$$. Can use a diquate (Reward), will not give you the best results and is cheaper than fluridone. I have had some success using Reward on small areas of watermeal. A client told me one time that he uses a leaf blower to blow all the watermeal into a corner before he treats it with herbicides. He says the leaf blower works great moving the watermeal around his pond.

I had total success using Sonar AS. To me the cost is relative to effectiveness and Sonar or similar products seem to be the best for watermeal by far. It's certainly a lot of money for such a small quantity of liquid, but it's very concentrated and long acting. Also you need to factor in the value of your time because there is very little labor involved in applying Sonar.
