Grubb Member G Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 12 MS	I have a 4 acre pond that I am starting over. I want it to produce large bream. I plan on stocking fathead minnows, bluegill, coppernose, redear, and LMB. If I also stock some catfish in this pond will it affect the growth of the bream?

big_pond Lunker B Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,027 North East Georgia	It really depends on when you stock the cats and what your fishery plane is... What I mean is if you stick with just channels and stock them MUCH later than the Bream and harvest them earliy...you should not have a problem...

BrianH Lunker B Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 417 Hico, TX	Are you going to feed your bream? If yes expect catfish to eat most of the food. They scoop feed where as other fish eat one at a time.
