I can anyone tell me what I can put on the grass and weeds that are in my stones around my pond that won't fuel up the FA or create any other problems?

So, you want to kill grass & weeds next to the pond without harming the pond.

Roundup is not recommended near ponds, as the surfactant is bad for pond life IIRC. The active ingredient itself is not a problem, however, so we just need to find some one or some post which mentions the safe surfactant alternative.

I can search for it a little later this weekend.

BTW I do not think dead plants above the surface should have a large or immediate impact on FA in a pond. Removing the dead grass & weeks as much as possible would eliminate any FA impact.

Looks like glyphosate with an aquatic-life safe surfactant is OK. Some use ROund-Up, despite possible problems it may cause frogs. "Rodeo" may be the best to use.

Theo: Thanks for your search on this topic. I just don't want to put anything into the pond to fuel up the FA and surface algae and pond scum. For frogs, the bass make short work of this guys so there are none to be seen!

Here is the generic equivalent to Rodeo which is approved for aquatic use, we used it to get rid of cattails. It's much more cost effective than Rodeo.

Did some reseach on the aquastar, comes in 2 1/2 gal and shoreklear is the same stuff but in gal and qrt size! also I have been looking at killzall any input will help.
