Well today was the day. I finally took Fatty Jr. fishing for real today. He got his first fishing pole for his 3rd birthday in dec, and has been "practicing" for a couple of months now. My brother in law called asking where to take my nieces fishin, and I decided the time was right. I was as happy as could be as we got our gear ready and loaded up the truck.We met up with my sister,brother in law and 3 nieces, and they followed me to the lake. The entire 20 minutes in the truck fatty jr never let go of his spongeboy rod. So we get there and he is all excited seeing the boats. We fixed up his rig with a little corn , and off he went. First cast we throw it out and, bam the bobber goes under. Fish on!!! he caught a whopper 3 inch bluegill and Poppa has NEVER been so proud!!! He said "hello fishie" and wanted to hold him and release him for another day. And he say "bye bye fishie" as he tossed him back into the lake. Now the rest of the day he has been running around asking mommy and daddy "I wanna go fish, I wanna go fish". I think daddy has got a fishing buddy for life. Getting ready to go...  First cast of the day at the lake!!  My Boy's 1st fish!!!  Big fish of the day!!!!

Great post, Fatty.
My almost two year old boy was hitting on some teenage girls yesterday at dinner.
I was damn proud of that young whelp.
