Check out Anderson minnows. Just outside of Little Rock in Lonoke, they have fatheads and golden shiners. http://www.andersonminnows.com/index.htm

Brian, You may want to toss in another 1400 or so BG or CNBG, (winter is a little cool in B-ville for true cnbg). The Lonoke area has lots' of fish farms in it and most fish are great quality, not to mention dirt cheap!

Forum member RC51 lives in Cabbot, and also has a pond near Batesville....He may help you source what you want....

Are you planning on stocking LMB at some point? That is not very many BG if you are planning on stocking LMB very quickly. You may need to wait another year for the BG to reproduce before putting in predators. In which case you may not even need minnows.

The CC's may spawn in two years if you have any spawning sites, which might be good or bad, depending on how big BOW you have and how well they spawn. Might end up with too many CC. That is if you do not have predators to control the new fry.

Probably need to know more about the size of the BOW and your ultimate goals are.

What you are stocking is not a normal stocking ratio. Maybe you are wanting a catfish only pond and the other fish are just for forage and snail control???

What about to have Koi carp and Goldfish in your pond?
I think these two are good choice to have in your pond.

Koi carp are river carp (Cyprinus carpio) with color and goldfish are related but not the same species. They feed differently. They are "doable" in a pond with lots of bass to eat their youngsters. Too many koi and goldfish will create muddy water. Muddy water will dramatically reduce the productivity and food chain in the pond and thus the amount of sport fish that will live in the pond. I would never stock them in a sport fish pond.
