Rainman,
I am considering removing some of the Blue's I purchased from you from my strip pit & over wintering them in an aquarium. Any suggestions on how to catch them. I know they slow down enough to where i can net them when the water temp. drops ?
Thx...Mick (2nd terre haute stop).

Almost missed this!

Try a 1/4 mesh net in some shallows if you see schools of YOY. I think a bit of nightcrawler has worked or stubby steve pellets work well if you feed pellets.

Bruce Condello caught some in Texas last week and George1 has commented on what catches them too.

Ehrmandale,

I did the same thing this past weekend. Difference was that I held back 12 of them in a cage all summer in preparation. Winter experiment is on. I've tried to catch tilapia with various baits & lures on several occasions to no avail. Good luck to you.
