... and I'm 48.

How old is everyone else around here?

If you're "39" like Jack Benny, just put it in quotes.

So what? I've done that a couple of times. ;\) I actually got carded two nights ago when I went to see a band from Austin, TX. I was pretty proud of myself.

Congrats Sunil. I have underware as old as you. I'm retired and old, but loving every minute of it. The next 38 will go really fast so take time to enjoy them.

About a year ago I stopped to get a fishing license, and accidentally left my driver's license at the sporting goods store. I went fishing in the river. I got some fish. I decided I needed some beer to help clean the fish. I stopped for a six pack, but the brainy young thing behind the counter wouldn't sell it to me without showing some ID. That's when I discovered I didn't have my driver's license.

She accepted my AARP card for ID!

I'll be 60 in October, but still feel like I'm 49.
Posted By: GW Re: OK, Sunil's 38 ... - 07/25/07 01:39 AM
My girl Cindy just turned 50 and she applied for AARP membership. She included me in the application so at 49 I'm an AARP member getting a discount.

I don't understand.

43 and my wife says I still need adult supervision, Supervision! Heck I would like to have my regular vision back, That way when I cant find my glasses I dont spend a hour looking for them instead of reading about how old everyone is,.

I got carded last year at a Wal Mart in Decatur Texas. The checkout Clerk was at least 40 years younger than me. She told me that everyone who buys beer gets carded. No exceptions. She put my DL into a card reader. I guess they're taking no chances.
Posted By: heybud Re: OK, Sunil's 38 ... - 07/25/07 11:40 AM
A couple of years ago I carded in Denver. I told the clerk, he scared me. I thought for a few minutes I had gotten to old to drink. I knew I wasn't to young to drink.
