TJ, want to go in halfers? I could take the day shift, and you could take the night shift. Vampires and werewolves are out at night, so I need to stay inside.
Fish farm for sale
I can't get the link to go anywhere. It starts to load something then comes right back to this thread.
snrub, not sure what to tell you. I just re-checked, and it works properly on multiple devices here.
That is one large operation.
May be my location in a foreign country is blocking the particular URL. I noticed all my pop-up ads along side different main websites are totally screwy of what I usually see at home.
snrub, glad you are where the water is clear and the weather is nice. Water clarity of a couple of hundred or more feet is something to see, but hard to imagine. Not sure where you are, but my favorite place for diving is Little Cayman. A place where not many know of. And per earlier request of bathing suit picture, when I traveled there, the only ones I saw were covered in Tanks and weights and such.
Have a good Christmas
Tracy
Snrub it's trying to load a PDF so depending on where you are/device/security setting that may be the root issue.
Ah Haaa. A pdf. I'm using a Galaxy tab and I forget have to get out of my browser and go look for the download.
I now have several copies of it.
Been to Little Cayman once and would love to go back, but we can stay down here the better part of a month in Bonaire for what it would cost a week in Little Cayman. Outstanding diving Bloody Bay Wall and all. For a winter refuge, we figure it costs us no more to stay here than it would in Arizona or Florida, once we get over the air fare hump. Got our own pickup truck to shore dive out of that a friend keeps for us so no car rental cost.
And Arizona is not much of a diving destination.
Bonaire
Did I do the math on that correctly? 1680 acres x $3,200 = $5,376,000 . Well there goes someone's 401k, or we can start a collection and each person get's part of a pond or a fish a year for life right?
snrub, I have her of Bonaire, just can't place it rite now, is it near Belize? Another nice diving place.

That is putting it mildly. Wow!
Fireishot, if I were you, I'd go with the night shift. Looks like waaaaaay too much work on the day shift to me.

Check out the link. Just a stones throw away from Venezuela. Sister and smallest (and most laid back) island of the ABC's, Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Dutch.
Bonaire Have dove in Belize once, Ambergris key. We actually drove the length of Mexico (used to vacation annually in the Yucatan and visit ruins), left the car at a friends, took a small plane to Ambergris. Will never forget that flight. Grass runway in airport at Corozol had 8x12 open shed for airport building. Pilot would bring the nose of the plane up till the stall indicator would buzz and back it off a little. Over ten thousand hours on the plane hour meter.
Been there snrub, spent a couple of weeks there. I love these places and the water. My last vacation place was Crooked Island in the southern Bahamas. hard place to get to. Like you said, after the air fair cost it was pretty reasonable place to stay for a couple of weeks. Some places will come with a car, golf cart, and or a small Boston whaler type of boat. I used to fly a private plane down in the lower Bahamas for vacations. Short runways and excess cross wind landings that will get you attention. Makes a pilot be on his A Game when exceeding the cross wind acceptable to the design of the plane. But always worth the trip. My girlfriend (now wife can tell some stories of flying down there).

You likely stay at a lot higher end places than we do. That is the thing about Little Cayman, there are but a few places to stay and they are all very nice. Don't think I have ever stayed at a place with a golf course. Did stay at a hotel in Peto, Mexico that was five dollars a night and worth every penny.
Here is our annual haunt down here. Run by a little old guy that still thinks it is the 70's (he and a houskeeper/breakfast cook run the whole show). Want fresh towels and a drink on the beach? No problem, get them yourself and bring your own towels. Ten rooms, a community outdoor kitchen and two community Fridges.
Funny thing is, at home we go out a lot to eat, down here wife cooks nearly all the time. Room is about 25 steps from the water in front of one of the better reefs on the island and another 15 steps from the gear room to the end of the pier to jump in.
Black Durgon Inn
That hurts that you'd only offer up this sweet, golden opportunity to TJ.
Weak.
edit: I meant 'only' to TJ. Weak
Holy crap, what an outfit! I'm in as long as I never have to pull a seine again.
Sunil, I honored that you might want a part of this.
So if we proceed on this purchase, here are my thoughts. TJ has to be COO, and not pull any seines. You can be CFO, and I'll be the party planner. First hire should be DD1 as the HR department head, and he will handle all employee complaints. That's probably enough said about that.

You'll need a damn good Engineer to make it work tho
I will volunteer to be the PR man. I'm sure everyone will agree with my non abrasive personality. If not, those who don't can kiss off!!
We are in as Quality Control...send us a box of fillets from time to time and we will let you know if they taste good!

PR Bob? I don't think you could gently kiss a Sweet Tart...
Maybe apply for the foreman's position with bull whip in hand to get the
slaves employees in sync to pull the harvest seines thru. Great responsibility here, and you would be the goto guy for this!

Bill, never seen a shrimp that was filleted.
QC needs some work...
I was thinking those nice looking HSB from the brochure but, HECK YEAH! we'll taste test the shrimp too!
Good Lord our payroll already exceeds our 10 yr revenue goal - Davidson doesn't work cheap - he's got a pocket knife collection to maintain, after all. Sunil will work for Peroni, or anything we can mask inside a Peroni bottle. Al will work for smoked Brisket or a authentic salsa, and I'm a sucka for anything that goes "BOOM". No clue how we rope Bob, Bill and JKB into this deal - maybe some beads or a bolt of red cloth? Jeesh, we may already have to implement layoffs before we open our doors.
Hey, QC will work for free....but a couple nice bottles of wine in each shipment would be appreciated!
No no, I've got you down for a string of beads...Bob already claimed the bolt of red cloth. Sorry dude, gotta PM quicker.
Guys, you are looking at it all wrong, Fear of Failure seems to be the pattern here. You will have to have a high end market of Fine Restaurants, like the ones located in the Ritz Hotels. This will get top dollar, you don't want to sell in the street markets. E.V.P of Sales looks to be your first step in this new venture. I can offer this. I am able to travel to all the fine restaurants around the world for little pay. Just an unlimited expense acct and an American Express Corp Platinum card will get me into the high end market for your new venture. Remember, get your mind right, no fear of failure. you better move on it guys.
And Tj, you said you have no experience in Southern Fisheries, so maybe a position in the fish cleaning side of the business, after all someone has to do it
Tracy
Guys, thanks for all the offers of help. I think all the admin positions are just about filled, so now I'll just sit back and wait for Sunil's check to clear.
JKB, most of the pics of this place are "older" pics, which to me means there's a ton of repairs before a valve is ever turned. A top flight engineer would certainly be a priority. I bet house lights dim in Brownsville every time this place gets fired up.
Yeah Al, that place looked pretty rough. And, why has not the neighboring shrimp farm taken advantage of this opportunity?
You can fix the light dimming effects with proper controls, but that won't be cheap!
