I've found a good container for watering things that can be found pretty cheap all over the country. Find a large machine shop in your area and you'll find that they buy water based tool lubricant in giant 350 gallon poly containers. These containers are cube shaped about 3.5 feet on a side and come mounted in a galvanized steel cage with a steel pallet on the bottom. They have a 1.5 inch PVC ball valve outlet on one end and a 10 inch screw on lid in the top. Ask the company what they do with the empty containers. I think they recycle them for reuse but I contacted the company that picks them up and they sold me one for $100. I simply fork it onto my utility trailer with a hose connected to the outlet and can haul 350 gallons at a time.
Gotta get back to fishin!
