I don't know how else to put this, don't think I'm being a smart A, but, I don't know if you've noticed or not but I'm in Alabama and we're known for our red and brown clay. Which I nearly pulled myself into the pond with the excavator while I was trying to dig it out. I believe it might have been just one huge rock that I hit the top of because on down the shore line I ended up diging past the depth where I hit the rock and I'm pretty sure it's surrounded by clay also. Also, the reason the water level is so low is because we are in an extreme drout. I'm keeping an eye on the water level just to make sure. I'm adding a link below to see the entire renovation. I've got to put in a couple of post for the dock we're going to build and place my tire reef back in since I forgot to drill holes in the top to let out the trapped air. Thanks for all the help.
