Interesting. I stocked Redear over 8 years ago. We catch a lot of them, but have never caught any that were very big. We caught (and released) one last weekend that was maybe 8 or 9”. That’s one of the biggest ones we’ve ever caught. I’m guessing the fish are there, it’s the fishermen that need to improve. We did catch one of the original HBG. It was a big one.

RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these.
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
