Fortunately the BG was so big that the hook never found its way into the YP's flesh. The BG was so big she couldn't spit it out while I was reeling her in.
So maybe now I've learned the secret to catching YP in the midst of all the aggressive BG.

I have heard of guys using barbless hooks, but catching fish using "hookless" hooks is far beyond my range of fishing skills!
