Played at the pond the last three days. Fished it pretty hard. Not many fish. (I started a separate thread on it). Grandkids still had a blast. They can still drag the net along the bank and catch a handful of glass shrimp plus a few tadpoles, and a few crawdads.
Picture is of the glass shrimp. Best net yield from granddaughter was 9 in the net.
Beautiful weather this weekend, but it’s kind of eerie that the water is so quiet. Tossing in feed I get schools of golden shiners pushing the pellets around. They are unscathed by larger fish. Sad..[Linked Image from hosting.photobucket.com]

9 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these.
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
