I am thinking about opening my drain pipe valve, (4" pipe going thru the bottom of the dam that releases water from about 25 to 30 ft deep), the water usually stinks, if I leave it running for several weeks to a month I can lower my water level several ft to be able to remove some trees and brush this winter if were to get ice solid enough to work on. mostly in a couple coves that are almost inaccessible with a boat presently. Was curious what that would do to my yoy fish, I have tons of cover every where in the form of flooded timber and also getting a lot of dead branches that broke off in the wind then floated to whatever shoreline that the wind blew them to. what would be some of the risks this would cause? Hopefully we would get enough rain by spring to fill it pretty much back up, I am about 8 to 10" low right now. any thoughts? Thanks in advance
All the really good ideas I've ever had came to me while I was milking a cow.
