No real magic: food, water, cover, and harvesting lots of does. I also have multiple areas of thick cover that we never go into unless tracking a wounded deer or controlling unwanted woody invasives (off season). I hunt the edges only. I have really just tried to favor all wildlife and mostly stick with native plants.
