Sorry about your low moisture. Hopefully you get some favorable weather to avoid the expense of a well!

I believe I have seen (in my limited experience) bass RWs go UP when a pond initially drops a few feet below normal pool. I assume this is because the forage fish, crawdads, etc. lose their protective cover. Those ponds then seem to get WORSE from that point going forward - but that is usually correlated to a 1-2 year drought for the water level to stay low for an extended period.

Have you observed the initial UP and then the long term DOWN in relative weights in your experience? If so, any advice for fish management projects to be staged at that point? (Like your culling.)

P.S. Are you culling with hook and line? If so, are some of your hook-shy fish being caught more easily as they are starting to feel more hunger pangs?
