I think this bass must have been on the same keto diet I'm on. Kind of skinny at 3.5#. Actually Carolynn caught it and I suggested she get in the picture but she had her top off too getting some vitamin D sunshine and suggested it would not be an appropriate photo. grin So you are stuck with my ugly mug. She was happy with it and considering this old refurbished pond is our "trash" pond where we throw everything we either don't want to eat and don't want in another pond it isn't too bad. We fished it and removed a mess of probably 15 HBG that were good eating size. Trying to thin the herd a little so the rest can grow some more. Put them in the holding pen and will fillet them when it gets a little cooler this evening.

Also a picture of a resident diamondback water snake. It was particularly friendly today, letting us get up within about 6' for a picture before moving on down the bank.
