What amazed me was how shallow they were. The one male could actually see its dorsal fin break the water surface at times. Beds were in less than a foot water.
Did some cast net throws away from the beds. Got a few medium size RES and in one honey hole got about 10 2-3" RES in one cast. A few small SMB also.
