I few tips on photographing water plants...
1.) Put a sprig in a clear container with clean tap water - white background.
2.) Place a sprig on a clean white background.
3.) Close-ups of the leaves coming off the stems.
4.) Close-up of any flowers.
Good lighting applies to all and watch any flashes especially with the one in a container.
