Pat W, I have seen a similar scenario in a 2 3 acre lake that I have fishing access to, Crappie are more and more rare, when you do catch some they will be excellent size but not very many of them, the homeowner has had Flathead catfish in the pond before but we are thinking we have removed all of them some years ago, some were close to twenty lbs, but the crappie have not rebounded like we think they should have, there are a bunch of bass, some pretty good sized, in this body of water, we always have been putting them back but I am debating on culling a few of them in the future.

All the really good ideas I've ever had came to me while I was milking a cow.
