Thanks Pat. I shot a 138" buck here with the muzzleloader a while back in late December and the skin on it's neck was actually flopping around. A neighbor has at least one picture of that buck from about 1/2 to 3/4 mile away but it's in late summer and still in velvet.
The only thing I did today at the pond was turn off the winter diffuser. We are supposed to get a bunch of rain the next 36 hours and any remaining ice will be gone.
